A man has died after a crash Wednesday evening on Interstate 95 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, state police said.
The driver of a southbound vehicle was killed after crossing the median and hitting another vehicle on the northbound side of the highway, according to investigators.
The other vehicle's driver suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Northbound traffic was being diverted off the highway at Exit 3, police said. All lanes have since reopened.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
