The Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island, is buzzing with excitement after announcing one of its sloths is expecting a little one.
Fiona the sloth and her partner Wesley are due to have a baby next year, according to the zoo. It made the exciting announcement Sunday, which happened to be International Sloth Day.
Photos posted by the zoo showed several caretakers posing for a photo with Fiona. The expectant mother could be see dangling from a tree in the photographs and the zoo also included an image of her ultrasound.
"We look forward to meeting our newest member of the RWPZoo family this spring," the zoo said.
