New Hampshire state police say they have charged a Canterbury town worker with inappropriately touching two women at the town dump.
Police say they charged 63-year-old Warren Hardy of Canterbury - a convicted sex offender - with two counts of simple assault related to incidents they say occurred in 2008 and 2010. He was arrested at his home Wednesday.
Police say they did not receive a report of the incidents until December 2014.
Authorities say the victims were a town employee and a town volunteer.
Hardy was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in Concord District Court March 23. His phone number is unlisted and he could not be reached for comment.
