A shooting took place at Potomac High School in Maryland on Saturday morning, police said.
Christopher Mozee, of District Heights, was the man who died, Prince George’s County police said in an update. He was 33.
The gunfire erupted at a youth football tournament hosted to raise awareness for brain cancer.
Mozee was found in the bleachers with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The other victim is a 5-year-old child. That child was also taken to the hospital, but their injuries were "non-life-threatening," according to Prince George's County police.
Police are looking for the suspected shooter, who fled the area after the shooting.

News4 asked at a press conference about the shooting if there was a police officer at the event. There was a security guard but not a Prince George's County officer because the event wasn't school-sponsored.
