Anti-Violence Rally Held in Response to Deadly Shootings in Haverhill
There’s a call for change in Haverhill, Massachusetts after two deadly shootings, one on May 6 and one on May 18. One woman whose son was murdered is channeling her pain and anger towards peace. At Tuesday night’s anti-violence rally, dozens gathered to search for solutions to the latest cycle of violence. They say it’s a community problem, not a gang problem. And the police chief is asking for the community’s help. They all hope Tuesday night’s message is contagious.
