Chipotle is offering $3 burritos on Halloween only. The catch? You have to wear a costume.
But not just any costume. The Mexican fast-food chain wants customers to "spook" workers with scary accessories, like a fairy with a beard, a skeleton in scuba gear or a ghost with a cowboy hat.
"Unnecessary additives in fast food are creepy," Chipotle posted on the website marketing its "Boorito."
Of course, the "unnece-scary" additive part of the promotion aims to highlight the absence of additives in Chipotle's food.
So does a video posted on the "Boorito" website, inviting diners to "enter the nightmare of one Chipotle customer who discovers what Chipotle would be like if we served typical processed fast food rather than cooking by hand." [[338921142, C]]
The $3 "Boorito" promotion is on Halloween only, from 5 p.m. to close. Oh, and only one burrito per costumed customer.
Years ago, Chipotle actually gave away free burritos on Halloween. But recently, the price has gone up.
