Transplant Patient Who Met Gronk at Boston Hospital Shares Pre Super Bowl Message

A Massachusetts woman who got to meet Rob Gronkowski while awaiting a heart and kidney transplant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital has shared a Super Bowl message with #87 ahead of Sunday night’s big game. Lauren Meizo, who was able to go back to her Chicopee home last June after a successful surgery at the Boston hospital, says in the video, “Hey Gronk, Lauren Meizo here. Just wanted to wish you good luck come Sunday, you know like when you came to visit me at Brigham and Women’s Hospital when I was waiting for my second heart transplant and kidney. Just remember, listen to Belichick, he knows what he’s talking about. You have the world’s greatest team by your side, just like I did. So come Sunday, let’s bring home that Vince Lombardi trophy for all of Patriots nation. Go Pats.”
