Lines Wrap Around Polling Places in Historic U.S. Election

Lines formed early across the country Tuesday as voters turned out in force. Hillary Clinton greeted supporters outside her polling place in Chappaqua, New York. “So many people are counting on the outcome of this election, what it means for our country, and I’ll do the very best I can if I am fortunate enough to win today,” Clinton said. In a reminder a Clinton win would make history, people flocked to the grave of Susan B. Anthony in Rochester, New York, slapping “I Voted” stickers on the headstone of the leader of the fight for the right of women to vote, granted in 1920.
