Officials are investigating after a fire broke out at a Northborough home early Sunday.
According to the fire department, they responded to a report of a shed fire with a possible basement fire in a home at 93 Maynard Street in Northborough, Massachusetts at 12:32 a.m. Sunday.
When officials arrived, they discovered that the shed was well involved and the reported basement fire had spread to the attic.
A woman was home with her granddaughter and her dog at the time of the fire. They were able to make it out of the house without any injuries.
At about 1:01 a.m. all firefighters were ordered out due to concerns of the structure's integrity, officials said.
The fire reached two alarms.
Firefighters were able to clear the scene at 8 a.m.

One firefighter received a minor hand injury after falling while fighting the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
