Emergency crews responded to a partial building collapse in Brookline, Massachusetts, on Friday afternoon.
The collapse was reported around 12:30 p.m. at 68 Egmont St. No one was injured but the building was evacuated.
Brookline police said the building's facade collapsed along the row of buildings on Egmont Street. Photos from the scene showed large chunks of concrete from the building's facade landed on and around the front steps.
Building department officials are on scene checking on the building's structural integrity.
Representatives from Boston University are also on scene. About 25 BU students live in apartments in the privately-owned building.
