Northern Lights in Vernon. Around 2:20 a.m., only lasted for a while, but it was the most vibrant I’ve ever seen, I could even see the red and green along with pillars with the naked eye. Once again, For so many tonight, a bucket list goal was achieved and they didn’t have to go far. Incredible.

Northern Lights during the Perseids in Berlin. Went outside to watch the Perseid Meteor shower and was surprised with the Northern Lights! It was a little after 2 a.m. and they only lasted around 30 mins. but it was a lovely, beautiful surprise.

The meteor shower was underwhelming, but the aurora was spectacular. Taken at Old Marsh Pond, near the Bristol/Plymouth border on 8/12/24 between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.

Northern lights at Mansfield Hollow Dam at 2:15 AM. Geomagnetic substorm spiked up briefly in this photo, but lights were visible from 11:45 a,m. to 3 a.m.

Aurora was visible to the naked eye briefly a little after 2:00 a.m. Vertical stripes and some pink color were seen. The photo picked up green I could not see.
