Authorities in Maine are looking for a man who did not return after leaving in a kayak early Friday morning.
The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife said 39-year-old Timothy Clauge of Nottingham, New Hampshire, launched his kayak after midnight to go fishing on Watchic Lake in Standish. He had arrived Thursday evening for a family celebration. Around 1 p.m., authorities were told Clauge had not returned.
A resident found Clauge's kayak overturned on the lake Friday.
Wardens say the initial search was suspended late Friday, but divers were back on the lake Saturday morning.
Clauge is described as being a 6-foot, 200-pound white man with blue eyes and brown hair.
