A new poll shows Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker is still enjoying high approval ratings.
Seventy-four percent of Bay State voters approve of the Republican governor's performance, according to WBUR, which found the opposite to be true for fellow Republican President Donald Trump.
Trump's approval numbers in Massachusetts sit at just 29 percent.
WBUR's poll through MassINC Polling Group also found that Baker's Democratic challengers in November's election are having a hard time gaining name recognition.
Overall, 65 percent of voters have never heard of Bob Massie, 68 percent have never heard of Setti Warren and 72 percent have never heard of Jay Gonzalez.
Although Baker is the most popular politician in Massachusetts, Democratic U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is still rather popular and is also enjoying wider name-recognition than her Republican challengers in this year's election.

Sen. Warren has a 54 percent approval rating; meanwhile, her Republican opponents are struggling, with 80 percent of voters saying they have never heard of Geoff Diehl and Beth Lindstrom, and 85 percent of voters saying they have never heard of Shiva Ayyadurai.
The poll was conducted by calling 504 registered voters from Friday, Jan. 5 through Sunday, Jan. 7.
