What to know if you're voting in Connecticut
In Connecticut, a U.S. Senate seat is up for grabs as incumbent Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy is challenged by Republican Matthew Corey. The 5th Congressional District will also choose between incumbent Democrat Rep. Jahana Hayes and Republican challenger George Logan. In Connecticut polls close at 8 p.m. There is also a ballot question concerning absentee voting.
What to know if you're voting in Maine
In Maine we'll be watching a U.S. Senate race between incumbent Independent Sen. Angus King, Independent Jason Cherry, Democrat David Costello and Republican Demi Kouzounas. Polls close at 8 p.m.
What to know if you're voting in Massachusetts
Voters in Massachusetts will decide on a U.S. Senate seat this year: Incumbent Democrat Elizabeth Warren is challenged by Republican John Deaton. There are also five ballot questions up for a vote. Polls in Massachusetts are open until 8 p.m.
What to know if you're voting in New Hampshire
In New Hampshire, voters will choose a new governor as current Gov. Chris Sununu has decided not to seek reelection. It’s Republican Kelly Ayotte against Democrat Joyce Craig. There is also a constitutional amendment up for a vote. In New Hampshire polls are required to be open until 7 p.m., though some locations may close later.

In Rhode Island the key race is for a U.S. Senate seat, where Democratic U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse will face Republican Patricia Morgan. Polls close at 8 p.m.
What to know if you're voting in Vermont
In Vermont, voters have a governor's race between incumbent Republican Gov. Phil Scott, Democrat Esther Charlestin, independents Kevin Hoyt and Eli "Poa" Mutino and Green Mountain Peace & Justice candidate June Goodband. A U.S. Senate seat is up for grabs as incumbent Democrat Sen. Bernie Sanders faces his own challengers, including Republican Gerald Malloy. Polls close at 7 p.m.
