A year after nonprofit College Bound Dorchester announced its initiative, “Boston Uncornered,” which involves paying formerly gang-involved youth they call Core Influencers a weekly $400 stipend to complete their education and pursue college degrees, CEO Mark Culliton and student Paul Burns give an update on the program.
