Amateur actors star in ‘Dream,' which director describes as a journey of hope

A new independent movie created and shot in the Boston area proves that dreams do come true — “Dream” follows an autistic man who loses his parents during COVID, then meets a blind woman who helps change his perspective. None of the people in the film are professional actors, and 28 of them are blind themselves.
