Boy raises $6K after town shuts down his charity ice cream stand

After Norwood’s health department shut down his sidewalk ice cream stand fundraiser, Danny Doherty persevered — and raised $6,000 that will go to his brother’s hockey team, the Boston Bear Cubs, a place for children and adults with special needs.
