Trump Administration Proposes Sex Assault Campus Rule Changes

The Trump administration, under Education Secretary Betsy Devos, has unveiled a proposed overhaul of the rules governing campus sexual assault. The rules would do several things including narrow the definition of sexual harassment, reduce the liability of colleges and universities for investigating sexual misconduct claims, and bolster the due process rights of defendants, including the right to cross-examine their accusers.
