Former first lady Melania Trump has a memoir coming out this fall, “Melania,” billed as “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence.”

In an abrupt shift from the usual soundtrack at Donald Trump’s political rallies, former First Lady Melania Trump made a theatrical entrance at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night, walking in to the arena to a Beethoven symphony for her first public appearance since March.

The former first lady announced the death of her mother, a Slovenian immigrant and former textile factory worker, on Tuesday night in a social media post.
